Identify who sold the ticket
Payment may take place through an agency or directly with the airline. Keep the seller’s identity, contact details and booking reference and check who handles changes and refunds under your agreement. U Airlines supplies searches and partner links; the chosen external seller completes the transaction.
A change fee is not the full cost
When a fare permits changes, the total may include a change fee, fare difference and seller service charges. Read these terms before comparing fare types. A label saying changes are available does not specify deadlines, the number of changes or the amount due when requesting one.
Separate cancellation from no-show
Check what applies if you cancel before travel and if you simply do not use a leg. Ask how this affects the remaining booking, particularly a connected itinerary. No single rule applies to all carriers: your fare and seller conditions determine the arrangements.
Clarify how a refund works
Review the form of any refund, deductions, processing arrangement and the party receiving the request. Some fares may be restricted or non-refundable under their terms. Keep the conditions displayed at purchase and obtain a written explanation of terms material to your decision.
If the airline changes the journey
A voluntary request differs from a schedule change or cancellation initiated by the airline. Review official notices, options offered by the seller and carrier, and the relevant regulator for your route. This guide organises the checks; it does not determine rights in an individual case.
